One program, four grade bands

Here is what each band actually looks like in a classroom, and how one leads into the next.

  1. Grades 1–3

    Tactile, wonder-driven, unplugged

    • Do: Sort colour cards, argue about the rule
    • VR: None at this stage
    • Hands-on: Cards, blocks, tokens, physical games
    • Unplugged: Fully unplugged, zero screens
  2. Grades 4–6

    Concept visualisation, VR modules, entry projects

    • Do: Explore concepts in VR, start small projects
    • VR: Visualising abstract concepts, entry-level modules
    • Hands-on: Guided entry projects with real tools
    • Unplugged: Some unplugged work remains
  3. Grades 7–8

    Browser-based computer vision and NLP, first real builds

    • Do: Build real computer vision and language tools
    • VR: According to the Board Mandated Curriculum
    • Hands-on: First real builds, working software
    • Unplugged: Mostly screen-based, some group work
  4. Grades 9–12

    Computer vision projects, capstones, portfolio work

    • Do: Build a capstone project, ship a portfolio
    • VR: According to the Board Mandated Curriculum
    • Hands-on: Independent capstone, full ownership
    • Unplugged: Fully project and code based

Grades 1–3

There are no screens in these sessions. Students sort colour cards into groups and argue about which rule the machine used, play pattern games, and build early intuition about rules and categories with their hands.

Grades 4–6

Students put on a VR headset to see concepts that are hard to picture on a whiteboard, like how a decision tree splits or what a neural network's layers do. Alongside that, they start their first small projects.

Grades 7–8

Work moves into the browser. Students build their first real computer vision and language projects, small but complete, and see them run end to end.

Grades 9–12

By senior secondary, students take on a capstone computer vision project of their own choosing and build a portfolio piece they can show at an admissions interview.
